Six graduating Benson High seniors received BHS Alumni Association Scholarships at the school’s May 12 Honors Night program at the Mary McNamara Auditorium.
The $5,000 in scholarship grants increased the total of Alumni scholarships during the past 23 years to $105,000 and 113 recipients.
The Alumni Association scholarship recipients from the Class of 2011:
- Brandy Griffin-Clements: Alumni Memorial Scholarship.
- Marc Chaussee: William Nimtz Scholarship.
- Ashley Haug: Donovan Memorial Scholarship.
- Goldie Bowley: Alumni Scholarship.
- Aminta Hodges: Anderl Scholarship.
- Ramon Wallace: Class of 1950 Scholarship
